Starting in 2015 Visa began refining its response to CostCo’s RFP for a sole credit card processor to serve their customers in the United States and Puerto Rico. Ted Harris, working closely with account executives and technology, crafted a future view of how Visa would provide innovation to the CostCo payment processing and help create a truly seamless payment experience. Ted led ideation sessions across Visa and Costco resulting in defining new products and services especially crafted for Costco’s needs but suitable for other network partners. Visa in 2016 successfully won the Costco contract displacing American Express.
